Wild Tokyo is an online casino that is owned and operated by Altacore N.V. The company owns several online casinos and I’ve had mixed experiences with them in the past. Some of its sibling casinos include Stelario and AllReels to name a few.
This operator opened its virtual doors in 2020 and is still a relatively unknown entity. The site is licensed by Curacao and works with several top providers to try and ensure an enjoyable online gambling experience. It has embraced cryptocurrency as a form of payment and looks to be adding more options in this area as time progresses. Let’s take a look at what else Wild Tokyo offers in this online casino review.
Basics
On its about us page, Wild Tokyo describes itself as the future of iGaming. It states that players get the opportunity to be immersed in an entirely new gaming experience when they visit the homepage. Now, this is clearly a bit of marketing but the site has tried to be ambitious with its theme and design.
What you make of it will depend on how much mileage you can get out of sites like this. The design is a little too busy for my liking and it felt as though some of the loading times were slowed down as a result of that. From a user-experience perspective, outside of these loading times, everything seemed to work okay though. There were a few issues in terms of finding information, especially regarding payment, which can sometimes be a red flag, but the customer support team was fairly transparent with most things whenever I asked.
Setting up an account with the operator was a really easy process
Setting up an account with the operator was a really easy process too. I registered using my e-mail address and phone number and it took a matter of minutes to have everything verified and ready to go. I had few issues from there depositing funds and getting my account ready to go. Of course, this process can also be made easier if you can sign up using Google or Facebook, which is something I touched on in my review of Zodiac Bet Casino.
Of course, one of the main concerns for any online casino is whether or not it is safe, and thankfully, you can breathe easy with this one. The casino is licensed and regulated with a Curacao license. This gives it access to most major markets, though, customers in places like the UK will not be able to access this.
There is also no need to worry about accessing the site on different devices. I tested the casino on both Google Chrome and Safari as well as on a laptop and a mobile and I had the same experience across all of them. The mobile site has been well optimized and it runs smoothly. There is no mobile application at the time of writing but that is nothing too uncommon when it comes to smaller casinos like this one.
Slots & Games
The Wild Tokyo slot selection is fairly solid, providing everything that you would expect from a good online casino. Slots from all of the usual suspects are present and correct, with the likes of Microgaming, Yggdrasil, NetEnt, Play N’Go, and several other well-established names all chipping in. It’s difficult to go too far wrong when you work with developers like this. The casino also provides several useful filtering options, allowing you to navigate via the provider or through some sub-categories. There is also a very responsive search bar available as well.
A section of the site is dedicated to jackpots, but you will be disappointed to see that iconic titles like Mega Moolah and Major Millions are not available here. This is always disappointing as these games are big attractions for a lot of players, myself included. There is still some fun titles like Divine Fortune on offer though. There is also a good range of Megaways titles and Jackpot King titles to choose from, though, you will have to dig them out as they are not given their own section on the site.
This is always something I moan about but the lack of provably fair titles is disappointing. For a site that has crypto deposit options, these should at least be a part of your gaming catalog.
There is plenty of other betting options as well. The site works with Evolution to bring customers a live-casino section. You will find all of the standard Evolution titles in here, including the more novel titles like Dream Catcher and Monopoly Live. There really is very little say about the quality of Evolution titles that hasn’t been said already. If you’re a fan of live casino gaming, then you will be fine here, basically.
Bonuses & Promotions
New players at the casino can get their hands on a three-part welcome package. This package allows players to claim up to €300 and get 150 free spins on top of that. It breaks down as follows:
- First deposit – 100% up to €100 +100 free spins
- Second deposit – 50% up to €200
- Third deposit – 50 free spins
The wagering requirements and the amount required to claim these deposits vary. For the first bonus, you must deposit at least €50, which is fairly high for a first deposit bonus. The next two both require €30 deposits, which is still high. All three of the bonuses have a very high wagering requirement of 50x. This is unfortunate as the bonus itself is not terrible, but the terms & conditions don’t make it as attractive as it should be.
There are a few other caveats you should be aware of. For the first deposit, the free spins will be received at a rate of 20 per day for five days. For all of the bonuses, players are given 10 days to spend them and complete the wagering requirements, otherwise, they are all null and void. Obviously, this can be tricky to achieve, especially with the free spins being spread out.
Elsewhere, the site has some fairly standard bonuses to offer. These include a weekly cashback deal, and then a weekend and a weekly reload bonus. The tricky terms & conditions appear to be the same for all of the promotions on the site. For me, 50x wagering is a high amount and it can definitely be a turn-off when it comes to claiming bonuses.
The site does not promote the use of crypto through its bonuses at all, and this is something I always find to be disappointing. In fact, this was a theme I found throughout the site, with crypto feeling like it was just an afterthought.
User Reviews & Customer Support
Wild Tokyo is still a site very much in its infancy and as such, there is not a great deal of feedback about the site on the internet at the moment. Some players, like myself, have pointed out that the wagering requirements are an issue, while others have also said that they have had issues receiving payments from the site with certain methods. The latter of these is not something I can attest to but the first one is definitely something I feel is justified.
The operator has taken the time to address some of these reviews, though, their responses do appear to be fairly generic. At least the brand is aware of itself on the internet though and it does make its presence felt, which is more than what a lot of smaller casinos do.
As for the customer service team. I found them to be fairly useful whenever I had questions for them. I asked them for some basic information regarding the use of cryptocurrencies and their withdrawal limits and they were quick to respond and pointed me in the right direction. The service is also available 24/7, which is never a bad thing.
Deposits & Withdrawals
The selection of deposit and withdrawal options available to customers at Wild Tokyo is fairly solid. The site covers all bases loosely, offering traditional methods like Visa and Mastercard, a selection of e-wallets, and some crypto options.
For all of the fiat methods, the minimum deposit amount is €20 and the maximum amount is €10,000, which should be more than enough for most players. This is where one of the issues with the site comes in, with crypto deposit options requiring a minimum deposit of at least €50. This is always frustrating and is not going to encourage players to use cryptos. You can find plenty of other great online casinos that offer crypto deposits options for much less.
As far as the crypto options go, you will find all of the usual suspects here. Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum are all present and correct, while Dogecoin was probably added during its big run earlier in the year. It does indicate that the casino does try to keep up with crypto trends though and that it will update its selection as and when it needs it.
The site does allow you to purchase crypto through a third-party provider – UTORG. I personally do not have any experience with UTORG so I can not vouch for whether or not it is worth using. Chances are you will probably be able to get better exchange rates elsewhere though. Once again, the minimum you can buy here is €50.
When it comes to withdrawal, it appears as though you can withdraw with every method for €20. This is fairly standard, though, a little frustrating that crypto deposits are higher than their withdrawals. The processing time for most payments is 1-3 days, while with crypto it is almost instantaneous.

Final Thoughts
Wild Tokyo Casino is something of a mixed bag. On one hand, the game selection is solid and the customer support was always available to help when needed. On the other hand, the crypto options here are not great and the bonus terms & conditions do leave a bit of a sour taste in the mouth. The three-part welcome package is enticing at first glance, but the high wagering requirements and high deposit amount are going to, understandably, put some people off.
The user experience on the site is solid, not spectacular. I did have a few issues with loading times and navigation but the customer service did help counteract that somewhat. As I’ve mentioned, the slot selection is solid and the casino does work with some really well-established developers.
From a crypto perspective, you can find many other top online casinos that will offer easier options. The crypto-deposit amount is high and there is little to no focus on cryptos in the gaming or the bonus sections of the site. On the whole, there are definitely more crypto-friendly options out there, but there are still some positives to be had here.
I rarely get to experience the customer support but I did with this one. Had an issue, contacted them, and they dealt with it. Would have been better if that issue didn’t exist in the first place, but still good that they dealt with it so quickly and professionally.
Can’t say much for the customer support side of things but I was very happy with my experiences here.
I had a similar experience recently so it seems that they are still good in that department
Needs more crypto. good site tho
loved it. good all round. didnt have any issues personally.
Bonuses could certainly be better but I like the site overall.
