Kosmonaut Casino is a DAMA online casino that launched in 2020. It seems to have gone unnoticed somewhat as I have reviewed a lot of DAMA online casinos in the past year and this one didn’t appear on my radar until quite recently. That’s not a bad thing, though, and as the following Kosmonaut Casino review shows, the site has a lot to offer.

a DAMA online casino that launched in 2020.

Whether it’s on par with other top Bitcoin-friendly online casinos remains to be seen, but let’s take a look.

Basics

Kosmonaut Casino Bonuses

The word “Kosmonaut” comes to us from Russian, as the English word is “cosmonaut” (which actually comes from the Greek “κοσμος”, meaning “world”). Combined with the fact that Kosmonaut Casino’s second language is Russian and it’s second currency is the Russian Ruble, it’s clearly a Russian-focused casino.

If you’re not from Russia, don’t worry, as it’s also available in many other major gambling regions, including Canada, Norway, and Australia. It doesn’t have a license from the UK Gambling Commission or the Swedish authorities, so it can’t be accessed in the UK or Sweden, but that’s usually the case with Bitcoin casinos.

Kosmonaut Casino feels much more inclusive than its limited licensing would suggest. It has over a dozen different languages and currency options to choose from, and these include both cryptocurrencies and traditional currencies. For a full list of language and currency options, checkout the list at the bottom of this Kosmonaut Casino review.

Kosmonaut Casino doesn’t have the best-ever layout or theme, but it’s definitely one of the better ones. It’s not as colorful as Cadabrus Casino and while it has a dark colour scheme, it also lacks the crispness of Bitstarz. Still, it’s easy to find what you’re looking for and it doesn’t strain the eyes, which is always a good sign.

I also like the green accents on the sidebar links and the use of grey elsewhere. It’s much better than stark-white, as it helps the links and the text to standout without leaving you with a headache. Kosmonaut Casino works well on both mobile and desktop, and the site is dynamic enough to cater for both of them.

I personally play on desktop (I know that practically makes me a boomer, but I like what I like, so shut up and get off my lawn) and I like fixed sidebars. Kosmonaut Casino doesn’t have one, but it manages to do something even better.

If your window is large enough, you’ll see the menu options along the top. If you reduce the size and squeeze it a little, it’ll condense into a sidebar. I know there are a lot of developers reading this and thinking, “So what? Welcome to 2022”, but trust me, I’ve played on a lot of online casinos and a huge number of them feel like they were designed by 10 year olds using MS FrontPage 98.

As someone who is constantly changing window sizes for multi-tasking/review purposes, it’s great to see a site that doesn’t capitulate as soon as it’s not in full-screen mode.

Software and Games

Kosmonaut Casino Games

There are just under 30 developers listed in the Kosmonaut Casino games room. The exact amount that you see and can play will depend on your location, but for the majority of you, that list will include NetEnt, Betsoft Gaming, Microgaming, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Red Tiger Gaming, and Evolution Gaming.

It’s pretty much the classic mix of 3D developers, bonus slots, and Live Casino creators that you can find on a huge number of crypto casinos, but that’s a good thing.

Unless you’re only interested in games from the likes of Playtech, Blueprint Gaming, and Yggdrasil, none of which are available here, then you should fit right in.

To help you find the best games for you, Kosmonaut Casino has filter options that allow you to search by provider and feature, including Bonus Buy. There are also sections for “Top Games” and “New Games”, although I doubt the accuracy of the latter.

At the time of writing, Rich Wilde’s Book of Dead is listed in the “New” section, even though it was released 7 years ago. And if they mean “new” as in “new to the casino”, they really need to change their category requirements as players only care what’s new to the industry, not what’s new to the site.

You can also find a bunch of jackpot games here and there is a section that shows the total of all the site’s active jackpots, along with the games that have the biggest payouts at the time. If you’re hunting for progressive jackpots and want to stick with games that are ready to pop, this is a great section.

Bonuses and Promotions

Kosmonaut Casino VIP Program

Your first deposit at Kosmonaut Casino could earn you 1 BTC. At the time of writing, that’s over $50,000! It’s a lot of money, and it also comes with 100 Free Spins. It’s a matched deposit bonus, so if you want that much money you’ll need to gamble just as much. However, as it’s split across three different bonuses, offering a maximum of 0.25, 0.50, and 0.25 respectively, you don’t need to deposit all of that cash at the same time.

The bonus is also valid on deposits as little as 0.00045 BTC and delivers a 100% match. So, if you deposit 0.25 BTC, you’ll get a total of 0.50 BTC to play with. If you deposit just 0.00050 BTC, you’ll get 0.001 BTC.

If you don’t use cryptocurrencies, don’t worry, as the bonus is also available for traditional currencies. You won’t get as much—there is a cap of €500—but it’s still a decent offer that’s spread across three deposits.

In addition to the Welcome Bonus, there are a bunch of reload offers and these are triggered throughout the week. You don’t need to be a new player to collect these offers but you will need to meet the Terms and Conditions, which include minimum deposit amounts.

Some of the terms to look out for include the 45x wagering requirement and the 7 days that you have to use the bonus credits and the Free Spins. There are also some country limitations, including a restriction for all players from Sweden and Finland and some bonuses that are only available to players in Denmark and New Zealand.

The VIP Scheme is also worth a mention here. VIP Schemes have helped to set BTC casinos apart from their traditional currency counterparts, as they are more generous, more accessible, and more varied than anything you can get elsewhere. Kosmonaut Casino is no exception.

Its VIP scheme is based around the planets of the Milky Way, with players advancing from one planet to the next as they collect points. You’ll edge closer to the sun with each step that you take and if you make it all of the way to level 9, you’ll be on the “Sun” level.

It’s possible to collect up to 20% cashback, and there are a bunch of other perks and rewards, as well.

Payment Options

Kosmonaut Casino Review

Kosmonaut Casino gives its players a choice between a number of popular cryptocurrencies and traditional payments, including Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Neteller, ecoPayz, Skrill, MasterCard, and Visa. Most deposit methods can also be used to withdraw and it takes a couple of hours for the casino to process all payments.

Withdrawals are limited to the equivalent of €1,000 per day and €15,000 per month and plays can choose from an array of currencies, including USD, EUR, BTC, and ETH.

The only negative thing to comment on here is the withdrawal limit. However, the same could be said for all DAMA casinos, as well as many other BTC casinos, including the otherwise excellent LevelUp Casino.

The good news is that progressive jackpots shouldn’t count toward your withdrawal totals, although the same can’t be said for fixed jackpots. It’s also not something you need to worry about as a small stakes player, but it will definitely hinder your enjoyment of the site as a high roller. In fact, if you’re the sort of person who drops €1,000+ at a time and regularly gambles more than €10,000 a month, this is not the site for you.

Highlights

  • A Welcome Bonus That Offers 1 BTC
  • A Cool Theme and a Dynamic Layout
  • Lots of Jackpot Games
  • A Great Selection of Bonus Slots
  • A Great Loyalty Program

User Reviews

Kosmonaut Casino hasn’t attracted a great deal of user reviews, despite being nearly a couple of years old at the time of writing. Still, it’s not a particularly big casino and doesn’t seem to have had a lot of marketing behind it, so that’s to be expected.

The reviews that do exist are fairly positive and it’s easy to see why.

As far as the customer support is concerned, Kosmonaut Casino has an excellent Live Chat feature that is active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The support team is friendly and professional and if you change the site’s language, you’ll be connected to someone who speaks your language. It’s a nice touch, and it shows you just how diverse the site is.

It should also be noted that the Live Chat feature is available for non-members as well as members, which is becoming increasingly rare in the online casino industry.

FAQs

How Long Do Withdrawals Take?

It depends on the payment method that you use, but most withdrawals are processed in just a couple of hours. From there, it could take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days for the funds to reach your account.

Is There a Withdrawal Limit?

Yes, like all DAMA casinos, Kosmonaut Casino has a withdrawal limit. You are restricted to withdrawals of no more than €1,000 a day, or the equivalent in your chosen currency. The limit for the entire month is €15,000. If you withdraw more than this at once, your funds will simply roll over to the next withdrawal period.

How Do I Contact Kosmonaut Casino?

The best way to get in touch with Kosmonaut Casino is via Live Chat, which is shown on the website at all times and can be accessed by clicking the little green message icon. Live Chat is available around the clock and it supports several different languages.

Can I Play in the UK?

You cannot play Kosmonaut Casino if you are in the United Kingdom as it does not have a license from the relevant authorities. The problem is not with Kosmonaut Casino but with the regulators themselves, as the UK has yet to fully embrace cryptocurrencies for use on online casinos. That might change in time and when it does, sites like Kosmonaut Casino may apply for the necessary licenses and make themselves available for players in the UK.

How Do I Join the VIP Program?

You will automatically become a member of the VIP Program when you join the casino. However, if you want to move through the rankings and collect more points, perks, and cashback, you will need to make deposits and wagers. The more than you commit, the more you will earn. Final Thoughts

Kosmonaut Casino is a solid online casino. At the outset of this review, I noted that it had slipped through the cracks somewhat as it hadn’t appeared on my radar. I was half-expecting a terrible site that deserved to be ignored. What I actually got was a very impressive site from a consistently brilliant operator.

It’s not without its problems, including the low withdrawal limit and the country/bonus restrictions, but there’s no such thing as a perfect casino, at least not in my eyes.

If you’re looking for a new place to play some top bonus slots and jackpot slots, I recommend checking it out. Just make sure you stick with bitcoin when you deposit, as it will give you access to a much bigger Welcome Bonus.

I completely agree with you that this site deserves more attention than it got.

I had never heard of it until I saw your review but I was intrigued and so I checked it out. Overall, I was very impressed. It doesn’t really do anything wrong and is a very reliable and non-gimmicky online casino. It doesn’t try to be anything it’s not and I had a good time here.

Not the biggest or best site out there right now, but deserving of your time nonetheless.

Just a heads up, these guys were very quick at processing my withdrawal back when I used them. Been a while now, but just saw this review. Think I might return, as I completely forgot about them and my first experience was positive. Maybe it’s not so memorable, as I have proven, but you can’t go wrong with withdrawals that only take a few minutes. Many casinos can learn from that as I am sick of waiting days for the funds to hit my account

Good bonus. Okay games. Can’t say much for the support as I didn’t have an issue. Only downside is that I lost my first deposit and the bonus funds. I might return though
