DAMA N.V. is a leading casino operator and one that had a big year in 2020. This was a year in which the brand launched sites like Kingdom Casino, which is currently offering a Welcome Bonus of up to €600. It is quickly becoming one of the biggest brands in the gambling sector, up there with the likes of Direx and Araxio, two operators that typically dominate our casino rankings.
Cobra Casino is licensed in Curacao and the site is available in several languages, including English, German, and Finnish. You can access this site from large parts of Norther Europe, as well as countries like Russia, Canada, and Australia, where it seems to do most of its business.
Bitcoin users will be happy to learn that Cobra Casino accepts BTCs, and these are offered alongside traditional currencies and payment methods, as well as a slew of other cryptocurrencies.
You can find more information on currencies, languages, game developers, and more at the bottom of this Cobra Casino review.
Restricted Regions
Before compiling this Cobra Casino review, we saw a few user reviews from UK players, suggesting that they could join and play, but were concerned as the site is not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. As we’re also in the UK, we tried to replicate this and couldn’t get anywhere near.
In fact, not only couldn’t we join, but we couldn’t even access the website! Maybe these other users somehow slipped through the net. Maybe they accidentally left their VPNs on (we’re no strangers to this oversight). In any case, we can confirm that Cobra Casino blocks players from the United Kingdom.
As a result, even if you do manage to slip through the net, we wouldn’t recommend joining. Eventually, you will be asked to verify your location and identity and when you do, your account might be suspended.
It’s also worth noting that while Cobra Casino is licensed in Curacao, it’s not actually available there. It’s also available in Australia and Germany, with the exception of New South Wales and Schleswig-Holstein. Take a look at the list of restricted regions under this review and if your country is listed there, give Cobra Casino a miss and take a look at one of the many other sites we have covered.
Games
Cobra Casino is built on the SoftSwiss platform, a popular choice for cryptocurrency casinos. SoftSwiss gives casinos access to over 10,000 real money casino games from the biggest and best providers, and Cobra Casino has cherry-picked the best of these.
Its developers include:
- NetEnt: The award-winning creators of Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Mega Fortune, and other classics. NetEnt games are hosted on countless casinos and are always a welcome sight.
- Blueprint Gaming: Responsible for the Jackpot Kings progressive system, as well as licensed slots like The Goonies, Top Cat, and the new Rick and Morty Megaways.
- Betsoft: A personal favourite of ours due to its unmatched 3D slot machines, with titles such as A Night in Paris, The Slotfather, and 2 Million BC.
- Yggdrasil: One of the fastest-growing developers in the world right now, Yggdrasil is on a path to become legendary and has created slot series like Vikings Go Bererk.
- Playtech: Arguably the biggest developer at Cobra Casino, Playtech has created a seemingly endless list of slots, including progressive jackpot games like Age of the Gods.
- Quickspin: A Playtech-owned company that has created a few stand out slots, the best-known of which is Big Bad Wolf.
All of these creators and more ensure that Cobra Casino has a wide-ranging selection of real money slots, table games, Live Casino games, and number games. The casino’s table games and Live Casino games are provided by Bgaming, EvoPlay, Wazdan, Iron Dog Studio, Evolution Gaming, Betsoft Gaming, NetEnt, Vivo Gaming, and more.
If you’re new and feeling a little overwhelmed by the sheer size of the gaming selection, click onto the Jackpot tab. You’ll find a number of games that offer massive fixed and progressive jackpots, each giving you a chance to scoop a life-changing sum with a single spin.
It has been argued that progressive jackpot slots are too focused on these jackpots and have a low RTP as a result. That’s true to an extent, but only because a part of the RTP is reserved for the jackpot itself, and once you factor this possibility into the equation, these games are just as impressive and generous as all other slots.
Bonuses
Up to €500 is available for all new players when they join Cobra Casino. However, in recent months the casino has introduced a policy that prevents Skrill and Neteller users from accessing this bonus, so make sure you’re using one of the many other payment methods if you want to get your hands on this offer.
250 Free Spins are also available and the bonus has a fixed wagering requirement of 40x. To withdraw your bonus, you need to meet these terms within 14 days. If there is any money left at the end of it, you can withdraw it, along with any profits, to your chosen payment method.
Most games have some effect on the wagering requirements but not all are weighted equally. For instance, video poker counts for just 20%, while table games count for between 5 and 10%. A few dozen slots don’t count for anything, but you can still play these games.
You can check the Terms and Conditions to discover which slots count and which slots don’t, but here are a few of them to give you an idea:
- Knockout Football
- Vikings Go Berzerk
- Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword
- Break Da Bank Again
- Mega Boy
- Summer Splash
- Wolf Hunters
Unfortunately, all progressive jackpot slots are also included, so you’ll need to give series like Age of the Gods and Jackpot Kings a wide berth if you want to speed through that playthrough rate.
One of the best bonuses at Cobra Casino is the VIP Scheme. There are four levels to this Loyalty Scheme and you can collect Cashback, Free Spins, and Bonus Credits as you advance. The more you play, the more you will earn. It’s a great scheme and it helps to boost your balance, but don’t expect it to be on par with the likes of King Billy’s Loyalty Scheme, which is one of our personal favourites.
Banking Options
Cobra Casino accepts an array of online payment methods, with a minimum deposit amount of €10. All transactions are processed free of charge and you can choose from options like Visa, Mastercard, Neteller, Skrill, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and more.
All cryptocurrencies are processed using CoinsPaid. It’s like the PayPal of cryptocurrencies, allowing you to accept, send, and receive payments in a host of digital currencies. It works with over 30 cryptocurrencies in total and is accepted on a wide range of online casinos.
Scroll down to the bottom of this review for a full list of payment options accepted at Cobra Casino. All of these options are hyperlinked and if you click those links, you’ll see a number of other casinos that accept these payment options.
While it’s great that Cobra Casino accepts a wide variety of payment methods (albeit nowhere near as many as MELbet) there are a few downsides. Firstly, there are withdrawal limits and these are pretty disappointing, to say the least.
The maximum withdrawal per transaction is just €500 or 0.05 BTC, which is around €780 at the time of writing. You need to withdraw a minimum of €20 and it can take up to 5 days to receive your money. In fact, if you’re using bank transfers or debit cards, it will take even longer.
This is very disappointing for a casino that launched in 2020. There’s no excuse for such limited and slow withdrawals, especially when you have already integrated payment options like CoinsPaid.
It’s something we have moaned about many times before and we won’t repeat ourselves here. Needless to say, it makes life very difficult for high rollers looking to stake large sums of money and all other players looking to get their money quickly.

Reviews and Support
We tried to contact Cobra Casino on Live Chat and didn’t have much luck. After checking some user reviews, it seems that we’re not the only ones. There are several reports of slow Live Chat responses and not very helpful support teams.
However, we’re willing to give the casino a pass on these, at least for now. At the time of writing, it’s near the end of 2020 and the reviews we’re talking about occurred during the height of the second wave. It could be argued that Cobra Casino was launched during this time and, as a result, should be more than ready to deal with the chaos. But it’s one of those things you just can’t prepare for.
After all, even if you hire a dozen dedicated team members and have them man the phones and Live Chat around the clock, what happens when one of them falls ill and infects the other 11? You can hire temp staff, but they can fall ill too and as we have seen, these things can happen very quickly and without your control.
On the plus side, Cobra Casino has responded to many of the good and bad reviews posted on third party websites. It’s not super-quick in making these responses (which could also be the result of the things discussed above) but it gets there eventually and that’s more than we can say for most online casinos.
As noted in our recent Kingdom Casino review, this small thing can make a massive difference. It shows that the casino cares about its customers and will do what it can to find a solution. It also gives you an outlet if you have an issue with the casino and can’t get an adequate response by dealing with its customer support team.
Should you have such an issue, you can just leave your review and let your feelings be known. These sites have a team dedicated to finding solutions for customers who leave negative reviews. In reality, they are just hoping that the reviews will be removed and that their responses will look good to prospective customers who happen upon them. But if you get the answers you seek, who cares about the motive?

Final Word
From its stylish red-and-black aesthetic to its packed gaming roster and varied bonuses, Cobra Casino has a lot to offer. It’s a great casino and one that we would definitely recommend, but it is far from perfect.
Cobra Casino suffers from two major problems. The first of these is an issue we have found with many smaller and newer online casinos and the other is an issue typically reserved for larger brands. In other words, it’s rare to see them together.
Firstly, it has a pretty pathetic withdrawal limit. We’re not going to repeat ourselves as it seems like 90% of our reviews contain complaints about this issue, but it’s clearly something that needs to be addressed. You can’t open your casino to players of all stake levels, encourage large deposits with a Loyalty Scheme, and then restrict everyone to withdrawals of no more than €500 a day and €10,000 a week.
Sure, it’s not an issue if you’re depositing tens of Euros at a time, but once you go beyond that you’re in trouble.
The second issue is the customer support. While we have praised other newer and smaller casinos for their support options, including the uniquely themed Syndicate Casino, Cobra Casino has a tendency to be a little slow and non-responsive.
It has the potential, though, as it responds to customer reviews. If it can build off that and create a more responsive team, it’ll be heading in the right direction.
An underrated casino. I joined this one after seeing it on here and looking for a bonus. I also joined 4 others that night and this was easily the best. In fact, it is probably the best I have joined for the last few weeks. Definitely recommend it and can’t believe it’s not as well known as some of the others!
Agree. Withdrawals need to speed up, but good other than that.
Noting amazing. Nothing terrible. It is a decent middle-of-the-road casino for me and that’s good, as there are a lot of terrible sites out there these days.
